Spirals, energy, gratitude 🌬️

For the closing event of the @loulouloveclub Edition 1, I created a set of hand-painted name cards and thank-you notes - not as decoration, but as quiet gestures. Anchors of intention.

The evening celebrated the invisible work women do to grow, transform, and hold space: for themselves, for others, for ideas not yet born. It was a moment to honour subtle shifts, inner nourishment, and the shared joy of being around a table where depth and lightness coexist.

The name holders echoed the sacred spiral found in ammonites - a form that speaks of expansion, return, and energetic flow. The thank-you cards were painted in a palette inspired by Hilma af Klint’s spiritual geometries, the luminous joy of Raoul Dufy, and the bold tenderness of Georgia O’Keeffe.

Together, they mirrored the spirit of @neonutritions whom we partnered with for the occasion - gentle, purposeful blends designed to nourish from within.

The whole table became a kind of altar. Not loud. But alive. Just like us.

Invitation | A few weeks ago, @thehost.place and @yse_paris kindly invited me to share my favourite addresses in Bordeaux.
A city I love for its quiet charm, its sense of scale, and its timeless elegance.

I wasn’t born here, not even in this country. I’m from London, for those who I haven’t yet met.
And Bordeaux, with all its beauty, can be a city that holds its distance.

But some places - by their warmth, their light, their way of welcoming you in - have a way of making you feel a little more at home.

So thank you for the invitation, and to all the places that make Bordeaux Feel like a home, Away from home.

J’ai imaginé cette dernière soirée comme un diptyque : un atelier intime sous la verrière, un dîner à ciel ouvert dans le jardin. Chez @theresabrunvollcochet, tout s’est tissé dans la douceur d’un soir de juin.

Avec @maison.lalo , nous avons pensé une table vivante : fleurs de saison, vaisselle choisie, équilibre entre formes, couleurs et matières.
Le dîner, imaginé et préparé par @theresabrunvollcochet, suivait le fil du végétal, dans une approche libre et généreuse.
Un rituel holistique signé @neonutritions a accompagné le moment — et les convives, en repartant.
À table, j’ai signé une papeterie joyeuse et spontanée, posée sur chaque assiette comme un mot doux à emporter.
Et pour prolonger le geste, un bijou à assembler, imaginé en collaboration avec @les_sirenes_swimwear : un objet à soi, entre création et mouvement.

MERCI à elles.

Cette première édition a été un terrain d’expériences, d’élans, de rencontres précieuses.
Merci à celles qui l’ont rendue possible — par leur présence, leur écoute, leur confiance. Elles se reconnaîtront.

L’Édition 02 prend forme : le Club s’offre une parenthèse estivale avant de reprendre le fil, un peu plus loin, un peu plus fort à partir de septembre 🌬️

To Desire or Not to Desire | An ode to Food

There’s something deeply intimate about food - not just in the way it is consumed, but in the way it is conceived, offered, received. A dish is never just a combination of ingredients, it’s a fragment of thought, a mood, sometimes even a memory passed through the hands of someone who has chosen, consciously or not, to express something.

To eat is to open oneself - not only to taste, but to texture, to temperature, to timing. And when food is beautiful, when it’s served with care and intention, it becomes more than nourishment. It stirs something more primal, more personal. It invites desire.

What we taste is never separate from who we are with, how we feel, or what we’re willing to let in. Sharing food means crossing a threshold - from sustenance to connection, from solitude to communion. And in this moment, when the right dish meets the right mood, something silent but essential is said.

We may not all speak the same language. But we can understand each other in flavour.
